Hedera is a fully open source, proof-of-stake, public network and governing body for building and deploying decentralized applications. It offers developers three primary services: Solidity-based smart contracts, consensus, and token services. Hedera is unique in that it is incredibly fast, energy-efficient (carbon negative), and secure. These advantages can be attributed to its underlying hashgraph consensus algorithm.  A Hedera Hashgraph developer course graduate demonstrate the knowledge to develop and maintain client applications using the latest Hedera programming model. This course also introduces you to the Smart Contracts service, which runs the EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine).

What it Demonstrates?

Demonstrate you have the knowledge to develop and maintain client applications and smart contracts. Gain the skills and expertise to build and maintain Hedera applications and Smart Contracts using the latest Hedera programming APIs and development model. A developer must also be able to:

• Configure a development environment with the Hedera APIs and Software Development kits (SDKs).
• Develop and build Hedera applications using the Hedera SDKs and perform end-to-end application life-cycle, i.e., build and test applications.
• Program in Java, JavaScript and other Hedera SDK programming languages.
• An introduction to the Hedera Smart Contract Service is also including with an introduction to the Solidity programming language for Smart Contract development is the EVM.
